Assistive Listening System
We are very pleased to announce that Saint John the Baptist in Waunakee and Saint Mary of the Lake in Westport now have Assistive Listening Systems Available.
The systems transmit sound over radio frequency directly to the listener’s ear without amplifying ambient noise for crystal clear audio and unsurpassed intelligibility. The Listen neck loop lanyard connects to a receiver that transmits audio directly to telecoil equipped hearing aids or cochlear implants. Users who do not have hearing aids or cochlear implants listen through a headphone connected directly to the receiver. The receivers have a volume control button so users can adjust the volume to their own desired level.
Receivers, lanyards, and headphones are available in the Library at Saint John the Baptist and at the Usher counter at Saint Mary of the Lake.
