Our Approach
St. John School is as 3K - 8th Catholic grade school in Waunakee, WI that educates and cares for the development the students as they learn and grow through these important years of life. Our educational philosophy is dedicated to forming the whole person - spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally. We aim to form graduates who are faithful, knowledgable, virtuous, and have a heart for service.
Our Pastorate
St. John School is part of St. Maximilian Kolbe Pastorate, which is comprised of the Catholic churches in Dane, Lodi, Waunakee, and Westport. There are ample opportunities for school families and students to be involved and grow in their Catholic faith throughout the Pastorate.
Upon relocating to Waunakee from Atlanta, we arrived with no acquaintances and were uncertain about our long-term plans in the area. However, the instant we stepped into Saint John’s, we recognized that we had not only discovered a place to call home but also a vibrant community we desired to actively engage with. The strong sense of faith in Waunakee and the warm, welcoming people further solidified our desire for our daughter to grow up here, receive the Sacraments within the parish, and attend Saint John’s school.
