Tuition Assistance

Saint John the Baptist Catholic School has partnered with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to assist us in more fairly granting tuition aid to our families. In order for your family to be considered for financial aid, you will need to complete this process on an annual basis. Applications are reviewed each year to ensure a fair distribution of tuition assistance to families. Please note: Tuition assistance awarded in prior years does not ensure assistance for future years.

Save time and apply online. Applying online is the fastest and most direct method of submitting your application. It allows Saint John School to view your application electronically within minutes of submission. If you are unable to apply online, you may request a hard-copy application from the parish office at (608) 849-5121.

You can apply online at http://www.factstuitionaid.com. There is a $25.00 fee assessed to the applicant to help offset the cost of the third party processing.

To apply, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Applicant "Sign In."
  2. If you are a new user, select "Create an Account." If you are a returning user, enter your existing username and password.
  3. Once you have signed in, you will have the ability to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment application online. After completing the online application, you will need to mail or fax all of the necessary supporting documentation to F.A.C.T.S. before your application is accepted. An address is provided during the application process.
  4. You will be notified by Saint John School when your application is approved and how much tuition assistance will be provided to your family.
Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for your application and supporting tax documents to be processed. FACTS is unable to verify receipt of documents until they are scanned into our system, which takes approximately 2 to 3 business days. Faxed or copied applications will not be accepted. It is recommended that you keep a copy of your application for your records. The tax documents needed to verify your application are listed on the FGAA Checklist that is found online or in the paper application.

Application deadlines are November 1 for awarding scholarships for the 2011/2012 school year. If you are applying after the deadline date, please contact the Parish office to ensure that your application will be accepted. Award decisions are not made by the FACTS organizations, but by Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church and School.
