Sacraments

The practice of the Catholic Church includes seven sacraments. A sacrament is a material and spoken action which confers divine grace upon a person, especially what is called sanctifying grace. The seven sacraments are: Baptism
Baptisms are celebrated after any Mass. First time parents should sign up to attend a Baptism preparation class. Classes are held the first Wednesday of each month starting at 6:30. Please call the parish office to sign up for the Baptism preparation class and to schedule your baptism. Each family will need to fill out a
baptismal informational form.

First Eucharist
First Eucharist is celebrated in Second Grade after the completion of the sacramental preparation program. Contact Jenny Schmitz at 849-5121 x222 for more information

Confirmation
Preparation for Confirmation is offered for students in their junior year of high school. Sessions are held on Sunday evening beginning in the early fall. Contact Jenna Keller at 849-5121 x316 for more information.

Marriage
Couples planning a marriage should contact the parish office.

Anointing of the Sick
A communal celebration of the Anointing of the Sick is offered the First Tuesday of the month at the 8:00am Mass. Individuals may request the sacrament at anytime by calling the parish office.

Reconciliation
Individual confessions are on Saturday 4:00pm, Monday and Tuesday following 8:00am Mass.
