Dear Parishioners,
No doubt your excitement is growing as the definition of our new church becomes
a reality. We praise God for His bounty and love as we observe human hands
working with Him in the formation of our new worship area.
Please view these memorial and gifting opportunities as a way to share in
enhancing the beauty of our new church. Over the last several months, parish
members serving on the Liturgical Design Committee, have planned, developed and
commissioned liturgical appointments for our new church.
Shown herein are items to be considered as ways to:
• memorialize your loved one(s)
• share a gift of beauty
• express your devotion
Some of these articles have been designed and will be fashioned by our own
parishioners, which make them notably precious and meaningful. “The human craftsman mirrors the image of God as Creator” (John Paul II, Letter to Artists). We are especially pleased to offer these for
your financial consideration.
Our existing church will continue to be a place of prayer and beauty in itself;
a gift given to us from our forefathers and mothers in faith. However, now is
the time to provide for future generations what we have been so fortunate to
have received. Please consider making a donation as an individual, family,
extended family, or business. Your gift may be given in full or pledged over a
period of up to four years.
Opportunities exist to provide ritual objects, devotional art and spaces, sacred
symbols and architectural items, and sacred art or art glass. Your contribution
will help defray the cost of purchase, transportation, and installation of an
entire piece or a portion of it. Generations to come will benefit from the
beauty, devotion, prayer, and worship of what we fashion here today.
May God bless you.
Sincerely,
Reverend Monsignor James L. Gunn
Pastor
