YOUTH MINISTRY

Mother Teresa 1997 Nobel Peace Prize Acceptance Speech
Middle School (currently in 6th-8th): June 28th – July 1st $70.00 for the entire week!
High School (currently in 9th-12th): June 21st – June 26th $90.00 for the entire week!
We will spend an entire week away at a town in Wisconsin , serving the local community, playing, and praying together with other students from around Wisconsin!
Questions & Answers:
Q: What kind of work will the youth be going? A: Small home repairs, painting, and yard work will make up the majority of the work. They may get some time in food pantries and other apostolates as well.
Q: Where exactly will these mission trips be going? A: We will stay at a parish somewhere in the Madison Diocese and doing work within that local community during the day. (the exact locations will be published as soon as they are determined). In the evenings there will be a variety of fun, high energy, and authentically Catholic programming put on by a team of young adults.
Q: Why not travel far away and serve during Summer 2009? A: There is always need right in our own backyards. During times of economic hardship, it becomes more pronounced. We want to embrace this call Mother Teresa issued and serve our neighbors first. Serving closer to home also gives us the benefit of keeping the costs low for the families who want their kids to experience the mission trip and it will help us keep our travel budget low!
Q: What can I do to sign up? A: Get in touch soon! Call 849-5121 or stop by the rectory. When you sign up, we need a $40 deposit to reserve your spot on the trip. After that, we will stay in touch and pass along the paperwork that will need to be completed before the Mission Trip takes off this summer!
